TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have loaned out their Zimbabwean young player Knowledge Musona to fellow Bundesliga outfit Augsburg, who did well to survive relegation after having been promoted to Germany's elite league only last season.

Hoffenheim believe that loaning out Musona to Augsburg will enhance the talented young player's chances of game-time, since he only made two first team appearances and 13 substitute appearances in the league.

To avoid frustrating their young talent, Hoffenheim believe that taking him to Augsburg on loan will keep the player fit and within a season he should be ready to return to the club and compete for a place in the starting line-up.

The deal was finalised at the end of the season, and Musona should be happy to know that he has a more realistic chance of playing first team football next season.

The former Kaizer Chiefs star striker who finished the 2010/2011 as South Africa's Golden Boot winner and Telkom Knockout Player of the tournament last season, is currently in camp with the the Zimbabwe senior national soccer team.

Musona and the Warriors are preparing for the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Guinea at the National Sports Stadium.
