Dynamos bounced back in style following losses in the league and the Independence Trophy in the past two weeks when they walloped Black Mambas 4-1 at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday to restore joy to the blue half of the Harare capital.

The Boys in blue scored through double scorer and last season's Golden Boot winner Roderick Mutuma, who broke his duck in the league this season, in-form Takesure Chinyama and midfielder Denver Mukamba.

Mambas scored a consolation through Kasimero Chimbadzwa in the second half.

Dynamos however find themselves in 7th position on the log with a game in hand, and could overtake log leaders Shabanie Mine who remain in the driving seat following a hard-earned derby draw against Platinum Stars at Mandava Stadium.


Perennial title favourites CAPS  United continue to struggle after drawing 1-1 against newcomers Harare City in Harare on Saturday, and the Green Machine are probably ruing the boardroom decision to relegate Lloyd Chitembwe to assistant of Irish man Sean Conor who is untested in African football. Conor does not have a proven track-record even in Europe.
