Orlando Pirates will welcome Free State Stars in another top drawer encounter, while Kaizer Chiefs will travel to Polokwane to face Black Leopards who recently performed a David v Goliath giant slaying act when they dispatched Zimbabwen side Motor Action out of the Confederations Cup, beating the former Zimbabwe champions 2-0 in a 2nd leg tie at Rufaro Stadium in Harare two weeks ago.
Jomo Cosmos and Platinum Stars will feature in a cup tie that sees the battle of the ABSA premiership log tail-enders. Golden Arrows and Maritzburg will battle it in a KwaZulu Natal midlands derby.
Three lower division teams remain in the competition to give a good flavour to the competition.
Roses United beat First Division side Bay United 2-0 to qualify for the last 16, while there were also places for United FC and Witbank Spurs, who will have to await to find out the identity of their next opponents as the last 32 round match between Amazulu and Ajax Cape Town was abandoned due to rain and will be played this week.
The last 16 round matches will be played towards the end of this month, during the weekend of 23-25 March.
